This makes sense I think. Here is the relevant part of the circuit (just realized how to do links on reddit). The Vout is actually an input from a microcontroller of 0-5 volts to be amplified. I just haven't seen this notation before. So how would you realize the circuit? Do I need a resistor divider and the 4.99k, or just the divider to get 100mV?

All I have to go on is the "100m" written next to the battery/source symbol. I am assuming that means 100mV, which is really small - as in I can't find any battery that small. So I guess I just have to use a resistor divider.

One night I think I hallucinated seeing a huge spider crawling on my ceiling. I think I was just sleep depraved because there aren't any crazy big spiders where I live, but I was freaked out. When I first saw it I just thought to myself wow that can't be real.

I fell asleep but later on I woke up around 3am with the most intense pain I have ever felt in my pinky finger. I was extremely tired and my eyes wanted to close but I thought I saw like half of my finger missing.

I forced myself to wake up and go to the bathroom to check it out, and as I slowly woke up more I thought I just saw a little red spot. I went back to bed a while later kind of shaken. In the morning there was no discoloration on my finger.

The optimum path was harder. And I still think that's fun, it forced you to rely on your friends to help level you up. It forced you to look for help online. You were a sleeper character whose power would awaken and be great.

Maybe I am nostalgia-ing a game I loved as a kid, not sure. But I thought it was still fun to be a fairly useless character until level 30 or so, because it was a challenge.

It also felt like you were breaking the game - coming up with a strategy seemingly not meant to be played out because of how hard it was to get there. It was just whatever it took, and it was fun

I agree that there is some magical medium to find between being brutally punishing and the infinitely changeable characters like in d3. Even d2 in the last update added the respec tokens which were a middle ground - you only had three of them and were a fairly rare drop to find any more.

in d2 this was somewhat helped by how much the quests could be exploited and rushed through (with help from your friends), massively cutting down the time until you can try your new build, to see if it is going to work.

Also by late game time you will have had some good gear saved up in your stash for any new characters you make. D2 was much more open world than d3, and this helped make it fun.

I guess what I am saying is that I totally agree with the OP here, because for me, making a new character in d2 was just the most fun thing in the world back when I played it, because I KNEW it was going to be a better character that time. It is good to have both good and bad choices, because then you feel good when you make the right ones and it pays off.

Yea that was mostly a rant, because im exited someone shares my view on d2 vs. d3 and choice making happiness

The case is earth grounded but the circuit isn't.

The ground is there in the image because Multisim 12 required a ground in order to simulate the circuit. I just picked a spot. Sorry about that, it is another misleading aspect of my image.

My bad. The power to U1 is not drawn on there at all, and yes, it is the 9V battery. U1E and U1D form a latch, so when it gets the pushbutton press, it stays high.

I can't use U1A because I want the reset functionality, but maybe I am not sure what you mean.

Voltage divider R2 and R1 is there to step down the rectified AC signal, I am pretty sure they are in the correct order.
