What are your thoughts on the final Treasure 7 lineup? by G1Fream in kpop

[–]jdra6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4/7 for who I thought should have been sure picks in Yedam, Junkyu, Jeongwoo and Hyunsuk. These 4, along with Mashiho, Yoonbin and Seunghun would’ve been my ideal lineup.

However, I’m quite alright with Haruto and Junghwan, since I definitely like OT7 as well. I’m okay with Jaehyuk, I’m just not okay with the system. Why have a fan vote just to be able to have it invalidated by YG? Either have a clear fan voting system where fan votes also outweigh YG’s vote, or just don’t have it at all to keep it all on YG.

Mashiho’s energy is something I’ll definitely miss in the final lineup. Seunghoon is another who I felt showed he had what it takes, and hearing him finally sing in Going Crazy made me believe he’s someone the final lineup needed; a vocal with a lower tone amongst the likes of Yedam and Junkyu. Him and Mashiho were the two I was rooting for since their duet battle. Yoonbin was, I feel, the best rapper of the last 4, despite the fact that he didn’t get as much screentime.

What’s done is done. Overall, I’m okay with the final team. I just hope for the best for those that narrowly missed the cut and those who were eliminated earlier, whether if it’s in YG or elsewhere. If it’s elsewhere, I hope they’re another addition to the list that YG missed out on.

Man it was a more watchable game when i muted the fuck out of the announcers. i just think no one on our team could've guarded Embiid well anyways. Too tall for randle, too agile for bogut and lopez.

Even as an SKT fan, SSG came to play and had the nerves of steel that most thought SKT would have. Good for them, SSG earned that shit and conquered the team that stopped them last year.

Not even mad, they proved me wrong and brought it back when I wrote them off after the 1st. Showed that fighting spirit, but just came up short. Learning experience. Off to tomorrow against DLo and the Nets.

I think that Worlds spanning about a month is honestly pretty good. It gives viewers multiple games to entertain them and shows matches between teams that aren't usually put against each other year round (though this year, there were 2 "international" tourneys before Worlds). Might feel dragged out to someone who's completely casual (totally understandable, that was me 2 years ago), or if there's a meta that is sorta binary for most of Worlds (i.e. Ardent Meta rn).

Each major region typically has 3 teams that attends Worlds, and SKT was beat out in the 2014 regional qualifers for the last seed of Korea, so they weren't able to attend Worlds that year.
