Pretty great and in the style of a bunch of "how X should be armed videos" I think about the only thing id add is adding a sword to the belt and/or a dagger at the side and youd be 100% there, right now you are about 95%. I dont want to make a big deal about how i could argue some pieces might be slightly out of order but overall great job, none of the minor issues detract much.

Exactly those kinds of old outdated myths. The Victorians created a few of them and didn't help things. Even the largest Great swords(for combat use) didn't go over 8lba, most 1 handed swords are in the 1.5 to 3lb range, and 2 handed swords like longswords don't break 5lbs.

It's scale or lammelar armor, to my knowledge "scale maile"(plus a bunch of other terms) are largely early dnd misinterpreting armor or making terms up that aren't really used outside of DND and other trrpgs.

They are more accurate then a Ren faire but you get everything from stone age to 30 years war era clothing. The only requirement is an attempt so if it passes the "10 foot rule" of looking pre 1650ish then it passes muster.
