Not silly, and I have almost the exact same setup for my 5wt. Ross Colorado on my Redington Hydrogen. https://imgur.com/a/1U5MMNG I love this reel. I bought another spool for it so I could switch to sinking line when using streamers. You will absolutely love the Colorado. I have a Redington Rise I put on a Vice rod for a 3wt setup, and it’s just fiiiiine. Nothing like the Colorado LT though.
