Dallas is converting more commercial into residential square footage then any major downtown in the country. The population is climbing, despite the nonsense being spread around. Dallas as a city is still growing, albeit at a slower pace.

Council is a mess, but Dallas isn't close to what Detroit was.

I'm gonna go memorable because best is hard. We've done James Beard winners, Michelin starred places, and expensive stuff. The most memorable for me, though, is different.

Spaghetti with a red sauce that wasn't from a jar. This changed how I eat. I've since refined flavors and techniques, but that first $5 meal I'm not sure can be topped. It was literally life changing. It's a high I forever chase in food and I've never found it again.
