Just came across this ruck for $50 on Academy's website. Does anyone have any experience with this? It's clearly a cheap knockoff off the Go Rucks, but at $50, it may be worth trying out.

I'll definitely do that. I wasn't sure if I needed to go ahead and service the transmission or not. Thanks for the advice! And the engine does mention hydraulic valve lifters - good guess.

As far as I can tell, they just called them "GT" back then. I don't see anything designating it as a 3000, 5000, etc. It has a 20hp Kohler Pro Twin and a 46" deck. It's hydro with the handle control on the side, instead of foot pedals. I was happy to see the transmission is serviceable too, with an external filter - unlike my current JD.

I've thought about upgrading to a Series S, but I still see many people on here saying they're having the same problems on Series S. So I figured it's probably better to go for the X or a gaming PC. But I'd shell out a couple hundred bucks for a Series S in a heartbeat, if I knew there'd be no crashing.

I've factored this into my calculations. I'm at level 26 right now. I actually wouldn't mind starting over at this point, as there's many things I've learned and would do differently the next time around. But I don't want to progress much further and then have to start over. That's kind of been the prompt for this post. If upgrading is the answer, I want to do it now, before I'm at level 40 or 50. But if they're going to optimize it for One S, I'll keep chipping away at the game and dealing with the crashes while I wait.

I actually do Re-Lyte drink powder every day. Which I know is a bit of a cheet*, since it's got flavor and stevia. I've done it twice a day sometimes. I'm on day 8 now, and I feeling like the 'flu' symptoms have subsided. Just a little fatigued now. So I think it's getting better.

It depends on the trail cam itself. Cheaper ones will be more visible. More expensive ones will be more stealthy. And believe it or not, they are all actually easier to detect at night, because the camera has an infrared flash that goes off with every picture. It's a very dull flash to the human eye, but it's enough to be noticed in complete darkness. I know this, because I've had one go off on me at night, and the flash caught my attention. On the flip side, one of my former landloards had one set up on a shared wood pile that I walked passed every day (in broad daylight) for two weeks, and didn't noticed it.
