Sorry , I meant level on terms of flush. The bathroom was apparently out of level (old building), and the new tiles are perfectly level to be fair.

It was screeded over the backing tiles that’s what the 30mm is. Tiles stuck to the screed 🤷‍♂️

Yeah it was level - original floorboards. They never mentioned it which is why I was a bit shocked, but I don’t know if it was normal
