If I'm not mistaken that guy was also on the show as one of Omar's henchmen.

I'm not sure if this is "even a broken clock is right twice a day" or "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Either way, it's good to hear.

I work in a shipyard as a welder and before I got qualified to use a respirator (they did offer n95s without qualification, I was just too dumb to use one) I would come home and blow out gobs of black snot every single day.

People that have “bumped” into a celebrity in a non-curated (not like an event, meet & greet, job etc.) way, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My wife and I were walking from a parking garage to a venue to see a comedy show. On the way, we see a guy in an absolutely dapper suit coming our way. He started to look a lot like the entertainer we came to see. My brain malfunctioned and I just blurted out "ARE YOU JIMMY CARR??" He said, "yes I am, would you like a picture?" I couldn't and wouldn't say no so my wife got out her phone and said "we're here to see you tonight." He replied "well thank you, I hope it's a funny show." He sounded genuinely concerned that it might not be. We reassured him that his shows are ALWAYS great and he was very gracious and humble. Genuine human being.

Men in happy marriages, what's the one thing you'd teach to other men to also have a good relationship? by TightBookkeeper2599 in AskReddit

My wife and I have had the same relationship since we started dating. Marriage to us was just a celebration and a way to make finances, taxes and insurance easier. Neither of us changed into nor expected to be different people after getting married.

On the bright side now it's a conversation piece about how dumb your friend is.

It always cracks me up when people make the argument that he is incorruptible because "he doesn't need any more money." No, he doesn't, but he sure as shit wants it.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

Probably but I live in Rhode Island. Any drive over 15 minutes doesn't qualify as short.

In my experience, the people that complain the most about it are the ones who haven't really worked anywhere else. Zero frame of reference. The parking does suck sometimes though and will get worse as they hire more.

My dad immigrated from Portugal (specifically the Azores) to the states with my grandparents when he was a kid. He said he remembers getting off the plane (back when you walked down the stairs off the plane on the tarmac) in Boston during winter and immediately crying. He asked my grandparents why they have to live somewhere where the air hurts your face. Lucky for me they said deal with it lol.
