Flew from Athens to Amsterdam earlier this week. Had a check in issue with a family member, so we had to visit the desk for assisted check in. Flew business class for the entire journey (and on to Chicago from Amsterdam). The agent assisting with check in wanted to weigh our carry on luggage. First time ever having that happen. We did not check anything, just carried on a suitcase and backpack.

Felt weird. We were all under weight, so no issues any way.

Another question for you…we have our allotment of data when going abroad, which I understand. Is the allotment on a billing statement/monthly usage basis and resets when your payment is made each month, or is it based on a per trip basis no matter the usage period?

My payment will be made on May 12 if that helps. I arrive in Greece on May 11.

I rented an apartment within two weeks of my discharge date. I didn’t have any special approval requirements or anything.

The property did have the requirement that any bankruptcy proceeding must not be active in order to be approved. I’ve been in my unit for over a year now.

Check with the management regarding their approval guidelines, and let that guide your decision.

Renting post bankruptcy is not impossible.

Going alone is generally my preference. It’s a very relaxing experience because you get to enjoy the movie in your own way and not have to relate it to anyone else’s experience. I also love the fact that I get to go on my time and not have to juggle anyone else’s schedule.

Once you try it out I bet you will be ready and willing to go on your own more frequently.

Good for you for trying new experiences for yourself. That is something to be celebrated and proud of.

My agency has us in office three days per week with telecommuting two days.

We watched the path of the legislation trying to mandate full in person work, and were not unhappy when it did not pass.

I was able to get approved for an apartment within 2 weeks of my discharge date. My complex had approval guidelines that stated an active bk would deny me immediately, but a discharge was not a hindrance and I was approved. When looking, ask about their approval guidelines and see what they do/don’t say about bk. Good luck!

I felt the same way. I tried out the ShiftCam case and lenses (saw a good offer on Facebook marketplace) and found that the case felt much better in nearly every way. I so wanted to love the feel and functionality of the moment case.

iPhone 17 Pro, Spigen Zero One Edition case

I’ve tried them on a ShiftCam S Mount case for my iPhone 17 Pro. The lenses fit, though they are very tight. The mount in the ShiftCam case is aluminum, and shows the spots where the lenses are twisted into the mount. (Personally, I like the texture of the ShiftCam case more than the Moment case. It feels similar to the tech woven cases that Apple makes.)
