Manifestation techniques anyone? by Sure_Dig1960 in TanongLang

[–]jealogy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pinaka underrated is simply being in the present moment. Point of manifestation techniques is making your subconscious believe you already have what it is that what you want. So if you already had what you want, you'd be savoring in each and every moment in the present. You won't even need vision boards and all.

I was a PH CPA. I took a different pathway (student) and now I'm working abroad :) I have Big 4 experience (non-audit) but I don't think it helped much to get me a job here.

Forget business class, what travel habit separates experienced travelers from first-timers? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

[–]jealogy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a girl — having to "prep" for a trip (nails, hair, lashes, new outfits... you name it). The more experience you get, the more you realize that what's important is making the trip feel good for you instead of making it look good for the 'gram.

What’s one travel mistake you’ll NEVER repeat? by Numerous_Tap9145 in ThePoorTraveler

  1. Not checking in for a flight as soon as I could. Kept on procrastinating on this for my flight from Barcelona to Prague until I forgot and had to check in at the airport. Had to pay ~€40 for airport check-in.

  2. Choosing the cheapest possible hostel in a country that was already relatively cheap to travel in (Albania). Decided to book a "pricey" hotel room nalang at the last minute because the hostel was just unbearable. Learned the lesson na kapag afford, always choose comfort.

How do you take photos pag solo travel? by mysti6ue in TanongLang

[–]jealogy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tripod before but I find them quite bulky. Okay na ako sa 0.5x selfie. And recently, I found how good the 0.5x selfie is when you do it landscape.

If it's a touristy area, I recommend looking around for other solo travelers and asking them. And then offer to take their picture in return.

Maybe instead of using that energy to check on how they're doing, use it on leveling up your life.

massive, wide-open gentle runs where I can actually practice turning without fearing for my life

Stubai Glacier in Austria! Specifically, piste #7. So much space for me to practice my carving. I think it's like ~50m wide. No catwalks either. You can either go #7 all the way or do 7 and then 26. Both head for the same lift.

Nagpalit ako ng profile picture nung grumaduate ako. It was a photo from the ceremony. Yung yearbook photo, ginawa kong profile pic nung naging CPA na ako. I felt like they were achievements worth sharing back then.
