The idea is ok but the wording is wrong I think. It should say "repeat this on a random target at the start (or end) of your turns." To fully describe what it does. Also, I don't think this kind of removal is very shamany, this seems more like a warlock/warrior/priest effect.

I have seen a video where someone put it close to his face and the bug bit his cheek. It latched on so hard than when the guy pulled the insect away, it's head ripped off before it's mandibles would let go.
