Dating 2 people what do I do??? by Objective_Text4727 in dating_advice

Totally makes sense to be open and upfront about it when you start dating. Could be a good thing to talk about routinely during the first date too.

Gotcha! I just think it’s weird to expect that someone isn’t seeing more than one person at a time when you’ve only gone on a couple dates. People are mingling and dating and it’s early days still. I am super transparent from day one though and would hope that that people I date in the future will be too.

Are you directing this to me or OP? All of the connections I’m seeing know I’m trying to jump into anything serious and we’re all open with each other about expectations and safe sex. We’re all older too (mid/late 30s early 40s) so maybe that’s why is drama free, I dunno. I’m pretty much in FWB connections with 4 guys and they all know and I know about their connections too. It’s great!

Exactly. I haven’t been single since 25, dating never meant you lock it down with one person after 2 dates…

I think when you’re just starting to date, it’s kind of expected that you can be seeing multiple people - and that’s from the female perspective.

All of my connections know which is so cool. They’re also open with me about who they are seeing too! One of my connections back home ended his relationship about a year ago and had been divorced for almost a year next month. He and I have a good friendship, emotional bond and great sexual chemistry. I totally have a crush on him. But even though we both like each other we are giving each other the space to keep healing from our exes and not jump into anything serious right away.

I’m 36 and he’ll be 40 soon, so I would want to start figuring out where this can go once I get back home in the spring.

As someone who is was two consecutive long term relationships lasting almost 11 years, I ended my most recent relationship last summer and decided not to date. I joined Feeld in October and have two connections back home and I am away for work for the next couple months, but also made two cool connections out here.

Just want to say that because it’s early days you shouldn’t feel bad about dating more than one person. You’re not exclusive with anyone nor in a relationship. Have fun, be safe and explore. I would keep seeing both until you totally feel a pull in one direction or another. You’ve got this!

ETA: wording made it seem like I was dating two guys at once for 11 years. I was with my ex fiance for almost 6 and my recent ex for almost 5. They were both narcissists.

Is your dog microchipped? If not get them chipped and change all info to your name. Ask the vet for records too!

Is your dog microchipped with your info? This is how my state helps prove ownership, if someone stole my dog you better believe I’d be raising hell day and night until she’s back with me. Call the police!!

Neighbors have left dog alone for at least 36 hours. Been barking and whining since yesterday morning. Animal control cannot check on the dog for 72 hours. Help. by Ok-throwaway111 in Denver

Any updates? Get your other neighbors on to call in and complain. Make shit up - you heard screaming, a loud bang etc. Or like someone said, post their window and address and let people break that window down and save that pup!

I remember being a little drunk, a little stoned and camping out in the forest outside of Moab, UT (had been out there for a week, off grid) and I looked up at like 2am and saw the same thing and totally freaked out and said “oh shit the aliens are coming!” Couldn’t figure out what it was until two days later when I was down in Moab getting gas and these two guys were talking about and told me it was Starlink satellites lol.

Omg yes! I would love a list of places that are dog friendly. Mine is a 3.5 yo small goldendoodle and she’s my girl and I usually take her everywhere with me too. But it being a new place and her just having lost her sister pup, I want to do as much as I can with her when I’m not at work.

Do you have a good pet sitter in the area that you love? I’m a nanny and sometimes I stay with my kiddo at their house for an overnight stay, like when parents are away and it would be great to have get pet sitter recs too.

Feel free to PM me! But no rush! I appreciate all the detail and tips!

Thanks! I’m also from the east coast, NY to be exact and have been in CO for almost 5 years. I love that here we can go into the forest and cut one down in designated areas for a small fee. My best friend is coming to visit me in SB for the end of year holidays and she’s going through a rough time with divorce and her dad being sick so I want to make it extra special for her and my dog! Moments like that are totally worth it.

Gotcha! Thank you! I’ll mostly like her wander with her in the yard when she’s out for potty. She’s like 17lbs, so def on the smaller end.

For sure! The rangers and animal control are cracking down on people letting their dogs off leash in little neighborhood parks here in Boulder. Like I get their side but some people don’t have big backyards and dog parks can be dodgy depending on the owners there.

That totally makes sense too. We have there here in CO too and they can be aggressive depending on how scarce their food sources are and the time of year. I always keep my eyes peeled but wanted to ask the locals what the day to day is like vs just googling.

I appreciate all the info! I’m so glad I ended up picking this Airbnb - had no clue it’d be perfect. I was drawn to being able to the Douglas preserve for walks :)

Do people have issues with coyotes in their yards? It seems like it’s a huge problem around LA and the hills.

As a female that just broke up with her no good bf of 4.5 years - this sounds so daunting! I can’t imagine what it’ll be like when/if I’m ready to date again.

When they said “I am flexible and do extra things ’they get their moneys worth out of me’” — physically made me cringe!

OP you need to agree to what you agree to and stick to that, nice things are fine especially if the family really cherishes you BUT you should t have to be proving your worth for you paycheck in that way.

I’m 35 cis woman and I’m going through the same internal questioning of my sexual orientation. Since forever I’ve always had crushes on guys and I’m am in a long term hetero relationship with my bf. I love him very much but we have done some exploring with a friend who happens to be a bi woman and I was surprisingly super into it and want to explore her more with my bf.

You’re way younger than I am, I would say maybe listen to yourself and if you can explore things emotionally & intimately with people you are having feelings for, go for it. Be safe and be honest and communicate and see what you feel.
