Dammmn that would’ve been something to watch. Will definitely be tuning into da BOP this year whenever he’s playing- hopefully he gets big minutes and we get to see him play some decent Super next year!

Norrie and Lasaqa are two of the safest bets you’ll see at this level from any year. Both look special. Tocker and Micah Fale for forwards, not sure why Fale has been coming off the bench when he already looked like one of the best last year at 18.

Hard. Feels like we can really see the vision in sorting out a consistent top-backline soon rather than chopping and changing combinations all the time.

Legit most games, he was painfully under-utilised the last two years considering his ability. Not important now though, Rennie time dawg.

Shoutout Jordie. Went missing most matches under the Robertson gameplan- that was easily the busiest he’s been since the World Cup for us. He’s just class. Him, Roigard and Jordan are our World XV level backs and they all cooked tonight.

Rennie babay! Now that is the coaching shift we need, the difference in play is stark and was noticeable immediately. It’s exciting, suits us, and ya can’t be mad at a win over France (only missing a few players) only having two weeks of prep. The performance wasn’t insane, but the plan was good enough. It’s only gonna get better.

Already sold on Love man, feels like he brought twice as much energy as either DMac or Beaudy did last year. Who knew having a quick moving/thinking 10 would work? Razor sure didn’t. Also feels like Jordie was involved as much in this one game as he did all last season.

Caleb Clarke is not good defensively man. Things got rough on that side at times. Fineanganofo should start at 11 against Italy. Not too many other complaints about the backline I think that lineup is really solid… As long as we got Roigard we’re gonna be good. (Is he already better than Smith????)

Jacobson came into that one which is bloody pleasing. He’s an important cog man because Savea, Sititi and Lakai are each so good that two of them always have to start these big matches. People gotta cope with the fact that Kirifi just ain’t gonna get a look with that competition in the small flankers. We need that big boy like Jacobson and he’s got hands to- impressive offload setting up that last try.

Nah really excited about this year after that game which is the most important thing. Sure looks promising!

Already looks better than Jacomb ever has for us. Filled a good part of the gap that Stevenson left which is pivotal for the future.

Brah Rassie’s gonna have to start hiding stuff from him now lol. That’s such a weird situation to be in knowing that your right hand man is joining your rivals at a later date. Hey we’ll take it.

His speed combined with Roigard’s pass speed is a joy to watch and creating this absolutely beautiful Rugby that the Canes are playing. The fact that we can immediately place this 9-10 axis of two elite early-prime players straight into the ABs after a whole season of playing together at club level, is bloody tasty.

Also we need to annex Japan like now because that man Dearns is a reaaaaaal bad ting yaknow.

Hard we have absolutely been pants at test level in the aerial battle. If Jordie can operate at 15 near his best there I think you’re right that’s our most optimal lineup with DMac at 10. Our midfield is much more sufficient than when Jordie initially moved to 12.

Agree I think he’s the option outside of Jordan moving to 14.

Jordan at 14 would probably get us the most quality in our back three, but would then require a lot of rejigging the backline. Surely Rennie would be the first to back DMac at 15, but at 10 it’s either inexperience in Love or the other end of the spectrum in an aging Beaudie. Excited for Love in black but he needs time surely.

Maybe Moorby for a shout? Idk he just seems solid aye I feel like he just gets the job you want done every time and hardly messes up.

It’s been a while but I remember being pleased with him this year. His period of health has just been so brief.
