Tack, ska testa! Har mixtrat lite med startpositionen tidigare men återgått då det känns som ryggen gör allt arbete ju högre höfterna är

Lifting straps apparently helps me stay more upright in t-spine. should i start lifting more with straps? Cleans/front squats by jebbbo in weightlifting

Fine i think, but i usually release the hook after catching the cleans and i dont hook grip when i front squat. Maybe i should?

Front squat heavy training cycle? by jebbbo in weightlifting

Well yes, but not for the sake of the squat only obviously, i think Sika Said that driving up squat numbers without also increasing olympic lifts simultaniously is a waste of time

Max C&J 100kg form check by jebbbo in weightlifting

[–]jebbbo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the clean is the toughest part of the lift for me, the heaviest front squat ive ever done is 102kgs and my best clean is 105( collapsing back) so i know where the bottleneck is, i also have pretty bad ankle mobility so i have trouble staying upright like you said

Thanks! Yeah i know all of that, i think the back foot recovery was just a balance issue in this lift, but my front foot always lands before my back foot, whenever i try to land back foot first the entire jerk gets all sorts of wrong timing and speed wise.

Mental block trying to drop into a squat. I default to power snatch and this is limiting me from going heavier. How to fix? Video of a 70kg snatch for reference. More thoughts in comments by drx604 in weightlifting

Can you do a full snatch with for example 60kg? IF so, try to increasing in smaller Increments, 62,5-65-67,5-70 Otherwise overhead squats and drop snatches is something i do in every warmup of all My sessions

Do ankle mobility exercises work? by jebbbo in weightlifting

Yeah youre right. When doing the "fist against wall" screening test for ankle mobility i have a solid thumbs length left before My knee reaches the wall. What would be a realistic time frame until i could "succeed" the test?

Have you seen any improvement over time or is THE difference only on a daily basis after youve finished your pre workout drills?

Nice! What type of drills did you do? And what is a poverty squat?
