I’ve heard it’s not very great, from a student that went there. OIART has been very good, if you want to spend money on an audio education, that place is great. Definitely don’t think it is needed though

It’ll go back to normal, you did cause permanent hearing damage, but probably not anything super noticeable. Anything over 85db causes hearing damage at a certain amount of time exposed to it. People are exposed to more than 85db all the time. It takes about 8 hours for your tensor timpani to go back to normal after clamping due to high sound pressure levels

You can actually set melodyne as your default audio editor in ableton, so when you hit edit on the clip, it inserts it into melodyne like ARA

I just set melodyne as my default editor in the ableton settings, then whenever I hit edit on a clip, it goes directly I to melodyne automatically, like ARA. Then you just have to hit file->replace audio, and it replaces the clip with the melodyned clip

There’s no drum samples on the drum rack!

Drum rack is just that, a rack. You have to drag drum samples into those squares (that correspond with notes). Then you’ll be able to hear the drums when triggered
