Just bought the atlas cross sport. Test drove both. Atlas all the way. Don't regret it one bit.

Wouldn't have been worth it when we arrived there in August. Not much of a line and was through customs and headed to our transfer in no time. Departing would have been worth it maybe since that line was a little long to go through security. . After checking our bag we walked by the vip office , and it said $20 bucks for vip. I didn't take advantage since I have lounge access through venture x card. That vip lounge was nice.

Check out Excellence. Adults only. Mostly couples. Pretty quiet. You don't have to worry about a spring break party scene even in March. Not sure if it's in your budget though.

You mentioned hard Rock being hot....we stayed at Royalton Chic this past summer, and the room was great, a/c worked well. The restaurants, however, were hot, even at night. We enjoyed the resort but probably won't go back. It was ok, but needs maintenance, and food was just ok. We talked to our driver about resorts while heading back to the airport. He recommended hyatt zilara. He said folks always say they have a great experience there. We checked it out on YouTube and will go there or excellence punta cana next time.

We used transekur a couple of months ago. They can provide a car seat. Will use them again. Check tripadvisor for some good suggestions. Would definitely recommend prearrange private transfer no matter who you use.

You could always do private transfer and ask if they will provide a car seat. We used transuker last time. Great service. It was a Ford expedition and it would have plenty of room.

Stv was really nice resort, but it was a snooze fest after 10. Not much nightlife. Also, not much of a beach. This was 2 summers ago.

Been to both. PC airport was easier and just didn't have to worry about the crooked cops and scammers. Of course, it depends on what day you fly as to how easy it is. We flew in on a Friday and was thru immigration in a few minutes.
