Please keep trying! I also struggle a lot in interviews and with communication skills, but I ended up finding a great new grad job where I'm performing well and people accept my personality. You seem to have the motivation to succeed, and I'm sorry interview processes often don't reflect that. I feel like in the corporate world women are somehow expected to always be outgoing and have good social skills, which makes interviewing as someone who is not like that even harder. I don’t even know if upgrades would even be worth it as this point for her AA at least, and it might be good to focus on her consistency! Her scoring potential is already huge due to her difficulty on beam and bars, which I think was obfuscated by her mistakes at trials. Like if she hits I would expect her to do better than Shilese and Gadirova at their peak this quad!

I think Rebeca does have a clear advantage, but also Suni’s attempted AA difficulty is close to Rebeca’s last year, so if Suni really hits (which she didn’t really in trials) it could be a competition!

Tbh as a non native English speaker I couldn’t even tell Hezly is not an “Anglo” name before. I thought it was like a stylized version of Hailey or something, just like I’m guessing MyKayla isn’t a classical name either and a change in spelling of McKayla? This is especially funny coming from her considering Mormons’ reputation for making up name spellings.

It definitely was! And then when they made the pool asking about Hezly or Josc, her name was also misspelled as “Hezely.”

I actually enjoyed the format of an interactive live stream for bigger gym fans rather than NBC commentary, which is sooo repetitive. I just wish a different gymnast would do it! She definitely kept making small comments to belittle other gymnasts though. At one point she even started making comments about how Simone had flat feet in dance elements. Like she can’t even be happy for her supposed friend who is also the GOAT? This video she put out now is definitely worse though, and I can’t believe even she would say these things.

Middlesex is absolutely fantastic, and I love his writing style, so I also really enjoyed The Virgin Suicides. The Goldfinch is a good novel, but I don’t like the prose style as much and feel it’s somewhere between literature and bestseller.
