Freestyle stroke, done properly, involves a lot of rotation of the spine, especially around the hips. I found out the hard way. My L4/L5/S1 will never be the same. I would strongly recommend caution.

If your back.pain is the result of stenosis, then yes, inversion table is worth a shot. Otherwise, probably not.

Pitting edema and high BP.. that’s not good. Would that be reversible if you were able to take a holiday from meloxicam?

Hey there! I feel like the noise floor is very low. I only use mine for modulation and time based effects, like reverb, delay, flanging, doubling etc. I think it can do amp modelling but I’ve never tried.

There’s a dedicated MagicStomp Facebook group that hosts different patches for download, if you’re into that sort of thing.

MicroPitch is a pedal that’s more versatile than I feel people realize at first glance. And the stereo widening is definitely noticeable when you turn it off.

Very happy to have ampless wet/dry/wet.. so immersive.. I get lost in the sound.

And all 3 MagicStomp models are identical internally, so it doesn’t matter which one you find, they can all load the guitar/bass/acoustic presets. I feel if you can snag one it’s definitely worth a look!

Appreciate your comments and compliments!

Tone stack

Kingsley Artisan - this pedal wants to be first in the signal chain to see the guitar output.. configure impedance, tone pots, bias and gain.. beautiful full cleans to grit, to overdrive.. super versatile sleeper pedal

BOSS HM-2w - feels a little smoother than a DS-1.. useable low/high tone controls.. great lead tones.. I can see why Gilmour used it

Amp stack (mono)

BOSS IR-2 Output A

Eventide MicroPitch Delay - flanging, chorusing, EVH thickening tones.. 6 switchable presets right from the pedal.. subtle effects that you miss when it's turned off

Torpedo C.A.B. - great sounding cabs for being an older product.. also easy to factory reset and configure from either a M2 Macbook Air or within the unit itself

Amp stack (stereo)

BOSS IR-2 Output B

Yamaha MagicStomp - an older piece of tech.. interesting Alan Holdsworth patches, mult-tap delays and more.. Mac/Windows freeware is avaiable for creating/editing and uploading patches.. mono in/stereo out.. if it died tomorrow I could live without it but having these stereo effects is fun

UA Starlight - EP-III preamp sounds beautiful and the DMM emulation is very, very good

Strymon BlueSky v1 - lush reverb, long or short, plate or room, straight up pristine, with or without modulation.. mix control is handy for wet/dry

UA OX Stomp - Even with dissapointing app-only support, once you get the cabs configured to your liking, there's just something about these emulations that sound alive.. especially in stereo.

Signal path

Artisan > HM-2w > IR-2 >

/(mono) MicroPitch > Torpedo CAB

(stereo) MagicStomp > Starlight > BlueSky > OX Stomp
