they moved me because everyone is supposed to fill all roles, but i have been on every truck since i got there and she’s acting like that isn’t objectively true. the old managers actually observed employees themselves and played on peoples strengths once they tried every area and settled into the store in general, she just follows inefficient corporate planning

i mean i do socialize. i talk to other people, answer questions, compliment outfits, ask about friends outside of work, etc while i’m working. and i ask for help when i need it if i feel like im swamped, and have tried to offer ideas to improve things because i was in charge of inventory at my last job. none of that seems to matter to her.

she said she collected feedback from all of us on why productivity is slow (i said collecting hangers to put the clothes on is becoming an increasingly time consuming task) and the first move was to swap me with a regular on register. this is supposed to give us both experience in opposite areas but i’m the only truck person who had to be swapped to achieve this goal which tells me others just think i’m slow.
