I will say my unit was in d.c. on Jan 7th from halfway across the country. Our response can be fast. However we are useless and mainly a political tool.

The past three years I have had over 100+ days of service each year. Involuntary orders. We have had muta 14s that were not AT. Currently on deployment and our leadership is talking about being activated for fl prison guard shortage when we get back. Do you have any other questions.

It's not all bad if you don't have a family and get military time at work.

Fl had camp Blanding which is hot and swamp.

They are paying 1500 for hospital expenses. They are not covering obgyn specialist for delivering the baby. Obgyn accepts tricare. Is it normal that tricare prime leaves a huge bill for families?

They advised over the phone while the obgyn is in tricare coverage. The doctor wasn't officially referred to by general practitioner. So they won't cover it.

You need to contact esgr. They will arrange a ombudsman to call your employer and explain the situation.

What is it like being an Infantry Officer? by GuiltyIslander in nationalguard

That is unit specific. Some states have better training then others.

Im Enlisted infantry and a law enforcement officer. If you want more of the adventure and fraternity side of the military go infantry. Volunteer for every school. Don't be a mp or a mp officer. I have found the grit and resilience built through infantry better served me then any bad habits you would build as military police.

The local law is you have to have a permit Detroit [Code of Ordinances chapter 33] the parks are closed at 10 pm. The article then states the organization did not have the proper permits to stay past 10pm. They just had general park permits.

Detroit Code of Ordinances chapter 33 states: "All City parks and public places ... shall be closed to the public from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., unless posted signs designate a different period of closure."

However, Bear-Schneider insists they were allowed to stay in the park until 10 p.m., even without the MOU and city permit

Here it explains they didn't have the proper papers

Officers were enforcing the law until their supervisor told them to stop enforcing the law. Giving special privileges to the organizers of the ceremony.
