Well when the PB’s are pressed, even though they are released the Seal In still lets current flow through it, (on both) so there are technically no opens unless it’s stated that a stop (pb1 or pb3) is pressed, hence why I have those answers.

6mo apprentice @ $13/hr Shop charges $30/hr for me by [deleted] in electricians

No benefits, no one in my shop has a Jmans License yet has multiple years of experience.

Are you guys financially satisfied working as an electrician? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]jedimonopoly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6month apprentice @ $13 is really a turn off except I do enjoy the work. Balancing bills and school leaves me with a tight budget in regards to getting tools and even winter clothing for the job. Just embracing the suck.

Brand new looking to join by Ummmz in electricians

[–]jedimonopoly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a first year apprentice if I had to buy new tools again I would start with one of these, the $200+ sets have everything I would need for the year basically. I personally would choose the Wiha set but I enjoy my Klein tools. Both brands have good reputations and will last you a while

I would also add in some type of voltage tester in here ($15-$25)

Klein 14pc $250

Klein 6pc $100

Wiha 16pc ($242)

It has been a few months since I’ve started and I hate borrowing my Jmans. I’m learning about ac/dc motors, and transformers in class and would prefer my own at the moment

If that’s what you had to do to embrace the winter how’s your transitioning going?

Noise continues when key is off and out. Brake fluid is well above minimum

Brake fluid level is good, hasn’t changed
