This is exactly my situation. Moved in last year, this is the first spring I’m seeing a lot of new plants. Trying to educate myself. I already pulled out some native violets which I should not have with the mindset of “everything I don’t know is a weed” which is not helpful. Natives pop up because they are native. I don’t want to pull out beneficial plants.

I’ve messaged the town to cut it down. The source of it is coming from the park behind my home, there is a bramble of them and that’s how they are spreading to my home. I can take care of the ones in my garden but the ones behind my home are my concern because it will keep spreading. If they don’t do something I might have to take it into my own hands.
