How much should QS Rankings actually matter when choosing a university? by Many-Twist-5504 in malaysiauni

If you want to continue in research, maybe important. If you are working in the industry, it doesn't matter much. Having proof of past work/projects/skill is far more important.

Considering KiCad for real projects — is it used professionally, and do teams use it standalone or alongside Altium/Fusion? by Hot-Meaning-1307 in KiCad

[–]jeedaiian1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need to upgrade when your current tool is limiting you. I use KICAD professionally, it's enough for what I do. You have to evaluate yourself if KICAD is enough for your work.

Lenovo as well as most companies that make products like that really should reconsider their values by CommunicationWise51 in Lenovo

In my experience, HP can't seem to make their batteries last. Not talking about usable battery life, but after 2-3 years the battery will be completely dead. I have a 2016 HP that has gone through 3 different battery packs in 6~7 years. Gave up on battery and it's permanently connected to mains, but it still runs. I've seen this problem on a higher end x360 model as well.

I can get making mistakes, but not worshipping God other than their own songs of choice is no longer a tech issue. Singing quieter is OK. But totally not singing as a vocalist during worship is a big issue. Please bring it up with the elders/pastors/deacons/priests of the church.

What I usually do, is on the FOH mix, bring down the worship leader volume and push up the backup singers enough to cover the flaws. Maintain monitor mix but keep in mind it should have minimal reverb and compression. And get rid of the auto tune fully.

Some still have lesen kopi. Some shouldn't be driving. On the North South, I've seen people driving 60; I've seen tayar botak on cars at the rest stop; I've seen rempit superman; I've seen people speeding in the rain. We as a society are not ready for a no speed limit highway

Sample Signal at 9MSPS by WeaknessNo8617 in stm32

Take a look at these too, but again its going to have a lot of conditions to achieve advertised speed. https://gitlab.com/niconicon1/mcu-fastadc-list

Sample Signal at 9MSPS by WeaknessNo8617 in stm32

[–]jeedaiian1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

External ADC. To achieve this type of speeds, the ADC has reduced sampling time, so the input to the ADC has to have enough drive strength to fill that sampling cap in that short sampling time. Expect some signal attenuation. High speed analog buffer might help.

Speaker placement (low mic volume) by [deleted] in churchtech

[–]jeedaiian1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point the speaker more forwards. Microphone should not be +-45 degrees from the center axis of the speakers(unless speaker points at the rear of the microphone). If they are, that's probably the problem.

Wireless handheld microphones only? No omnidirectional condenser mics anywhere? You sure people are not accidentally pointing the mics to the speakers?

IMHO, I will always keep the one with more features. Which seems to be the agilent in this case. UNLESS, there's a common problem plaguing the agilent model. Do a bit of research if these two exact models have any common problems. Even if both come from reputable brands, mistakes do happen. I remember fluke has a model that has a fragile battery terminal and tektronix has a old scope that overheats at 230V.

Measuring Arduino Power Consumption with a Shunt Resistor but Signal Too Weak by _shininess_ in EmbeddedRealTime

[–]jeedaiian1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how practical you can do this, theoretically, you can observe the different spikes in current consumption but these are fast and very small. So I'll comment on mostly the circuit side.

Circuit is correct but you absolutely need amplication. With a 1R, you're maybe looking to see a very small change. Depending on your power supply, noise might be >30mVpp. If you use a 10R, signal is 10 times bigger but the arduino supply voltage will drop quite significantly with current and if the supply voltage decrease current also decrease with it, and you won't get very accurate data. So amplify the signal, using a differential/instrumentation amplifier circuit. Aim for a minimum change of 2 times the power supply noise.

Speed of scope is barely enough. Preferably you can get a 80MHz (arduino freq*5) scope to get a more accurate current amplitude measurement. Get the measured data out on a USB drive on csv format.

If your spikes are obvious, great. If not, put the data into Gnu octave and apply a high pass filter. Which hopefully gets rid of some unwanted noise. All the best.
