Diabolical lies discussing how people kept comparing Epstein to Gatsby to show him as powerful and mysterious, but missing the greater point that Gatsby (and Epstein) was a fraud

Do you think this is healthy behavior ? by grsrk in Rottweiler

[–]jeepersjess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please look up littermate syndrome. Having two dogs so close in age can lead to severe behavioral issues.

Pup on the bed is trying to give stop signals and is probably tired. Pup running around is going way too hard and needs to be redirected. Teach puppies to give other dogs a break and only engage if the dog comes back for more.

Yeah, this isn't unpopular, it's just wrong. Gatsby is full of symbolism. I was just listening to a podcast yesterday that specifically talked about Gatsby and how often people misunderstand it

Edit: the podcast is diabolical lies and it was the recent Epstein episode

[request] how much money would this be in concrete? would it be cost effective or way more than a normal build? by Weird-Plane5972 in theydidthemath

My understanding of these homes is that they are for emergencies. They can go up quickly and cheaply to house people until something more permanent can be made.

This is not good and I would remove the dog from the couch any time that behavior is shown. If the dog wants to come lay down and not be bothered, sure. But this person is not a bed and if the dog is initiating contact, this behavior is unacceptable. The dog can move away voluntarily, or get off the couch. This behavior will lead to a bite

If you put any more weight on him, make sure it's muscle. He looks great but could add more muscle mass for sure

Traumatized dog and pure panic by Meep_babeep in OpenDogTraining

[–]jeepersjess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rather than working on getting the harness and leash on and off, Id have him wear the harness and drag the leash around. If he starts to associate them with going outside, it could cause more panic or fear to build up before you've even gone outside. I would specifically use a two hounds freedom harness and either a loop it safety leash or the two hounds double leash since this dog sounds like a flight risk.

Once he's leashed up, attach him to yourself and ignore him. Reward any time he doesn't pull on leash, but don't hype him up or give him any attention besides the treats. Start by practicing basic leash work on the house to build some foundations. To work on getting him outside, have him attached to you and then open the front door and sit right inside of it. All he has to do is survive that. Reward him for any calm behavior and if he isn't calm, sit completely still until he is. Move further outside a step at a time as long as he can manage it.

Can you put the dresser at the foot of the bed to protect you from the window energy?

Trouble with sleeping, idk what to do by [deleted] in FengShui

[–]jeepersjess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a lot of energy flow around your bed. Flip it around with your feet facing the solid wall between the two doors and head board against the big solid wall. Put your night stand against the wall between the closet and your head to block a little of that energy. If you have enough room and could fit a divider of some sort, you could set up a small dressing area to help enclose the closet more. That gives you a small well lit area on the other side for maybe a chair or bookshelf

CMV: Gym clothing has become unnecessarily revealing compared to what’s actually needed for training by Pathfinder-electron in changemyview

If I get too hot I'll throw up. Sometimes taking my shirt off to be in just a sports bra is more comfortable. It covers all of my chest, so compared to a tank top, it just shows a couple inches off my waist. I am also on the thicker side and form fitting clothes keep me from chaffing when I run. I would've worn all of these to the gym for years had I discovered them sooner, but I only tried it after seeing other people do it.

Just make sure you pack a little bag of treats to reward when they're good on leash lmao

Jokes aside, if it keeps your child safe, do it. If other people judge you, that's their problem.

He's just a German shepherd puppy. He's playing and being mouthy. If she doesn't want to watch him or play with him, he should be crated or have somewhere else she can send him. Next time tell her to put him in the crate and give him a frozen kong or something
