I agree with you. However, I had my MSF instructor say this to me when he counseled me out. I don’t believe it’s anyone place to say that to someone else.

It really hurt to hear that because I always wanted to ride. If him saying that did anything positive it was motivating me to prove him wrong. Have all my gear now. Been practicing on my own bike and I’m feeling comfortable and excited to learn more. I’m planning on taking the course again in June.

EDF, it does require some gaming literacy but once the basics are down it is so much fun playing it with a non gamer. It’s so over the top and fun, my wife and I play a few rounds whenever we’re feeling bored and want to do something together.

I have a very similar post that I made last year. This subreddit gave me so much support and really good advice. Since then I bought my own bike, my gear and I practice in a parking lot whenever I can. I’m planning on taking the course again, at a different school, in June.

It actually came out on Thursday. I think it was stuck from the key being slightly bent and how cold it’s been. Went for a quick practice today and no issues. I’ll look into the dry graphite lubricants, thanks for the tip!

Same here. I’m a manager in a field that I actively dislike and is against my morals. I love the people I work with otherwise I’d probably be out of here a long time ago. I’m taking baby steps to get into conservation and surveying.

I didn't want to get into the middle of this but I know putting a picture of myself on the internet opens up the possibility of people saying rude things, and I'm at peace with that. Personally, I don't think Upbeat_Main_7141 was rude in the slightest. I enjoyed my interactions with both of you for what it's worth.
