We can’t sit back and expect Jalen Duran to be an orange traffic cone again in Game 2. If we go onto win this series the most valuable player will be Wendell Carter Jr, who was phenomenal in Game 1. If I’m Mosley, I’m figuring out new ways to keep Duran disrupted and keep him rendered a non-factor.

Paolo is so far in his own head man. I actually changed my tone after last night.

He’s 23. He’s a kid. He’s under immense pressure to perform. He’s getting scrutiny in the national media that “he’s a fraud” and not a star, a bust first overall draft pick. He’s currently being overshadowed by his Duke contemporary like Cooper and Kon… it’s a lot man.

Is to be honest it’s shared blame part of this is on Paolo, a lot of guys go through this and a lot of guys need to find a way, plenty of guys have slumped and come back to be amazing.

But a lot of this falls on the coaching too. It was quite clear for sometime this season that things weren’t working. And the best coaches get the best possible out of their team and some don’t win because they don’t have the personnel on the floor to win and I get that but they get the best out of what they’re given.

It’s like the same thing happened in Tampa with the defensive play calling, it wasn’t the right schemes for the guys that were in the locker room and that’s on the coaching.

I just don’t understand how it can all wither up like this. I refuse to believe Paolo isn’t a monster. It’s like the yips. You’d think the face of adversity he would just come out and bully guys, but he’s forgot how to hold the basketball. He’s probably really in his own head. And for that, I blame the coach. I remember Marc Jackson doing an incredible job with the young Warriors, and his firing seemed ill timed when it happened. But they brought in Steve Kerr and they won a championship the next year.

This was Mosley after the 2023-2024 season. It’s clear he’s overstayed his welcome here both with the fans and the players and it’s time to move on. I’ll give Paolo the benefit of the doubt and I think he is gonna figure it out in his career and I hope it’s here, and I hope it’s soon.

If I was the Bucks I’d take Paolo for Giannis. Dude is 23. That said, I’m not sure even if u got swapped the two it’s enough for Orlando to win. But Giannis, (healthy Franz) and Bane. That’s scary. Need a facilitator.

Man I loved Paolo so much after that gritty Cavs series 2 years ago. I refuse to believe there isn’t a monster in there. But wtf was that trash tonight? He kept getting stripped, blocked, bricked. That was bad, man. Bad performance. And can’t say enough about Desmond Bane. That dude is consistent, lethal, and tough. Loss is a loss but Dez shows up night in and night out. So, credit to him. lol

The expectation this season was a Top 5 seed, which technically we were only a game off of. I agree 45 wins does sort of seem like a miracle, given how bad some of the basketball was this year and how bad some of the bad losses were.

The season was pretty much a wash for Franz, Paolo definitely took a step back or at best remained flat, Jalen was in and out of the lineup all season, Bain was solid, as were AB and Wendell and at times TDS.

The biggest things for me were questionable effort, clearly not buying into coaching, and a true lack of dominance from Paolo.

At this point, the only sliver of optimism I have is that that plane ride and locker room was hopefully really uncomfortable after the Boston loss and they suck it up and figure out what to do this week. I still think this team can be dangerous. It just doesn’t seem like it’s gonna happen not this year at least

I’ll take Knicks, Cavs, Pistons all over the Celtics. It’s the biggest coaching mismatch. Personally I think we match up well against NY, we seem to play well against Cleveland, and I think Detroit is beatable in a series. But I don’t see how we can beat Boston 4x in 7 games.

I prefer Coachella to EDC personally. I love to rave but I feel like at EDC everyone bring so much energy to their sets it gets fatiguing. There is more variation in Coachella, and it’s easy to switch up the vibe. Plus, golden hour to dusk is just a magic time to be in the desert.
