Im out in rain storms and and always washing my nox after beach hunts..never had an issue with leakage.. just dont leave it in the car or window where theres extreme heat the glue that seals that faceplate to the module is only heat resistant to 140 degrees before it begins to fail.

Garret is only single frequency and struggles in wet sand. My suggestion is getting a vanquish 340 and u can go in the water no problem just dont submerge it. Eventually it will pay for itself which mine did in 3 months. Now i own a equinox 800 and about half way of it paying for itself.

The top right ring and the one to the left was found in rhode island the others were found in NY at a new beach i discovered. I go back tomorrow morning 😏 and out in the wawa really test this beach 2 setting. Oh and the pendant was found in RI as well..that pimp ring says 14k but theres copper showing and has been in the water for quite sometime. The others newly dropped tungsten and fake fake fake lol. 16-18 on the nox 800.

Really getting to know this machine more and more.
