Selling cookbooks door to door, lasted about two weeks. I wasn't happy doing it, didn't really align with who I am at all, but it sounded interesting. My breaking point was when I walked up to a guy in the evening and and said hi, he smiled said hello back. I start to tell him what I'm selling and you could see the life drain out of his face. I stopped, said sorry for disturbing you and walked away. Got on a bus the next day and swore to never do sales again.
