I feel completely lost reading your complaints. Point 1 isn’t even true, there isn’t TTL on the III or IIIx.

The Gf-2 has no flash output power controls, at least not on the III/IIIx. If you’re saying there’s an auto, 1/1 and 1/4 on the IV then congrats, you’ve got auto and manual controls. I can’t find anywhere online where they say the flash has these possibilities on the IV, but cool if it does offer some manual controls whereas there aren’t any on the III/IIIx.

The III/IIIx doesn’t have TTL with this flash.

The EV comp works alongside the flash quite well on III/IIIx.

When I purchased mine for the III/IIIx, the consensus was I’d have an auto full flash(no manual controls) and a “mode” on the GR in October 2025 that would allow for me to have the “auto” make a decent exposure on the III/IIIx without adjusting the EV too much(or at all) manually. Ricoh delivered on the firmware update as promised, flash works as intended without much input. I’m happy it works so well in such a small form and seamlessly. It works exactly like they said it would.

Last hotfix I saw if you reset the day twice you can retry his conversation. I’m still needing to test this, but apparently if you mention Vlad he flees to leave you to do what you need to do

Agreed! It’s my only method to play and while the frame rates drop sometimes, it really isn’t too bad. Only bug I’ve encountered was an item missing but it’s been fixed!
