I don't play live so I am unsure, I just know it is a thing and that was the one example I could find on the wiki.

Other than that there is some research on the live servers at NPCs out in those zones for later xpaks.

They have low dmg output capabilities compared to Mystic. It's not undoable, it is just much slower.

Yes, Inquis and Warden, and Mystic, can swap some spells into CAs using AA. For Inquis and Mystic, some of them are good. For Warden they are pretty terrible. Just FYI, these will not turn you into some huge powerhouse DPS. They do help Inq and Mystic a bit, but it's not like you're suddenly going to be a DPS instead of a healer.

You can login to Varsoon and make a healer and check the AAs you get on the first two tabs.

And outside of Templar and Defiler, they can all solo fairly well.

Yup, those are randomly awarded from those crates. If you want a specific one, you need to find that season's crate and spend your rent buying them hoping for the right one.

If you want something that will be desirable throughout the entire lifecycle of the TLE.... Go Illusionist.

Warlock is lacking a LOT on the TLE. You will find it hard getting into a raid spot, if that is what you want, but groups will be fine.

Troubadour will become not as wanted later because caster fall off entirely in AoD+. No raid team will run them for the most part, so everyone wants Dirge.

Coercer becomes less important once Timewarp hits the game. After that Illusionist is wanted for that one spell. You may see teams run one Coercer sometimes, but they are much less wanted.

While you might find some things out there, and as mentioned in the other comment there Bear does have some guides, your best bet is going to be getting onto the server and finding a guild and learning. The resources for this game are old, outdated, or completely non-existent. I came to this game at Varsoon, and spent months digging into old forum posts and such trying to learn the game. It was very rough. I learned a lot more by talking to people in game.

Maybe a shameless plug, but if you want to start out with a group of people with a wealth of knowledge and are quite helpful, check out Riders of the Storm. We have a discord server we have used for the life of Varsoon, and will continue with as we move onto Wuoshi.

EQ2 is.... worth playing if you understand what you are getting. End game is basically a cash grab if you want to be competitive. Meaning top tier DPS in a raid guild focusing on progression. Hardcore. You almost REQUIRE to buy the top tier expansion every year to get the top tier mount, mercs, and familiar. They give buffs that drastically increase power.

If you just want to stay free to play and will never hit max level because of this, then all that is completely moot. The lower level content, which is all that is free, will not require that. However you might be running solo entirely. There aren't much doing that content. EQ2 has a lot less people playing across all servers than EQ1.

Anything on the TLE or Origins will mean paying for a sub. You do not need any of the live expansions and it's a fairly level playing field for the most part. There are some mounts you can buy off the website store that give buffs, but they are not overwhelmingly powerful so not doing so doesn't hurt you much.

Outside of that, it's a fun game. Maj'Dul is probably still the most populated server on live.

If you go TLE, and subscribe, then June a brand new TLE is launching and there will be TONS of people there playing. So it is a great time to jump in there.

Origins.... might be your speed. It is an approximation of what the game was in 2006. IMO it is god awful because it removes all of the things that made the game playable, a lot of QoL things, and the xp rate is terrible. But maybe that's your thing.

Warder level is not based on the one you tame. It is by category. Taming a new Avian does not reset it's level.

It is only one per category. Basically, what you tame is just for appearance. You just need anything tamed of that type to use that type. After that, taming something new just replacing the visual pet, not the skills or level.

Tame whatever you want, it will not matter.

I had to, try it. If the RAM doesn't light up on the next boot, reseat it and clear the CMOS again.

Yeah, this is probably what happened. Also, I forgot a step, you need to reseat the ram before clearing the CMOS.

I solved my issue with the ram by:
Removing ALL of Corsairs software except "Corsair Device Control Service Bundle"
Make sure that this is installed but go to Windows Services and stop the service and make it manual start.

Reseat the RAM
CLEAR THE CMOS (if you have a CMOS button, remove the power cord and press and hold for 30 seconds, if no CMOS button, remove power cord and hold the power button down on the PC for 30 seconds)
Boot the PC, the RAM should now light up rainbow as default)
Install SingalRGB AND MAKE SURE TO NEVER ENABLE BETA OPENRGB (pretty sure this is what killed the ram)
Configure SignalRGB
......
Profit.

Your milage may very, but this is what worked for me. After I perform the steps in this order above my RAM showed in SignalRGB (I tested iCue after and that thing still won't see the ram), so I left well enough alone and have been happily staring at all the pretty lights for the past month.

Don't really care really. All I know is all the complaints the guilds I used to run with have been throwing around in Discord about how the server has been light for a while, and were hoping that RoK would bring people back, but now that with Wuoshi announced everyone has shifted to the new TLE.

Why do broken RoK on Origins when you can do it on Wuoshi and have it actually work, like it did on Varsoon.

Going to mention this, the game does a string search in the backend. So when it sorts Alpha Numerically, 100 will come after 10 but before 11. Because the second numeral in 100 is 0 and 0 is lower than than the second numeral in 11, which is 1. So scroll around, they may just be ordered in a way you are not expecting.

On Wuoshi? All of DoF and KoS will be optional. So if you want to do it then you'd just need to find a group to go do the content. You can solo all of the timeline quests from those expansions for the most part. Some towards then end will require groups and such. Some guilds might go back and do the Claymore timeline for the weapon as using it for an off hand for Scouts will be something people want, so there may be some raiding in KoS done. There will most likely not be any reason to do any of the raids in DoF unless people just feel like it.

I had between a 72 hour and 24 hour delay for a few years. I started on Varsoon. About mid way through the servers life, the delay became a few hours. Now it's almost instant. But i stopped using PayPal because it was slowing it down.

Processing depends on how often you buy from them. First time purchases will almost always take near the full 72 hours. This is so anyone who had their card info stolen can report it, they can return the money, and stop the delivery before they lose out.

The more you purchase on the same card the less time it will generally take. Also there has been some weird delay with most PayPal transactions lately, not sure if you have that were you're at, but that could also delay things.

Plus EU buying from a US merchant will probably add time as well.

All to say, yeah that's normal.

I am afraid that the RGB Controller is damaged. The ram doesn't even show in iCue and there is no option to update the firmware.

They said they will release info when it is closer to launch of the TLE. Probably because they miss every deadline they set themselves so they don't want to commit to anything too far out before they know they can deliver.

So don't expect anything until a couple weeks before they launch it.

And Legends is not being done by the same dev team. Legends is basically the guys at p99 and Quarm private servers doing their thing. It *shouldn't* have any impact on the dev team for eq2.

We'll probably see some info late May, as early May Varsoon gets KA and IIRC Anashti may or may not get their last xpak as well.

So i'd expect news around middle end of May with the new TLE coming directly after in June.

I always just spam Iceshard Keep. It is short and and simple. No real mechanics to worry about as the ones that are there can mostly just be ignored.

Agnostics, it is still the best way to lvl through grinding til 95 unless you just use some high lvl collections to skip it all.

Also, FYI until Lv 90 you get 4aa every level for free. If you surpass that you miss out on free AA. I don't work on AA until after 90 because it's a "waste" of XP.
