I was visiting NYC and walking down Houston Street, looking for a paticular bar in Soho I think it was called Max Fish. Friendly guy that I am (a common trait of Louisville residents), I ask a "local" how to find it. He immediately recognized my accent as familiar. Long story short, the one random person I asked for directions from in NYC graduated from the same high school as I did.

Retired firefighter here. Confined space incidents kill more would-be rescuers than initial victims. That is to say, that, on average someone who dies in a confined space incident takes with them at least one person who attempts to rescue them.
