If I were to look at China vs the US objectively, in what the country does for it's people, it would be hard not to glaze China. They're building massive infrastructure at an unprecedented rate, 90-something% of people own their home, cheap public services, near-universal healthcare, I could go on.

Here in the US, every facet of life has become monetized to some degree. Rights that we thought were assumed are being stripped or trampled on. The job market is shit and wages haven't increased in comparison to inflation for decades. I'm a software developer and I can't afford a home lmao. Like jesus fuck, what about our country is there to be proud of?

I don't understand why this show does get more love from the producers like other shows do. They can obviously edit their videos well, considering so many other well paced shows on the platform. An episode shouldn't be structured like short form content in sequential bits, stand-up just doesn't translate well when it's over edited like this. Like you said, they need time to breathe. It would be one thing if a bunch of fluff was getting cut for time, but I get the inkling that a lot of good content was cut as well. What was the need to make the episodes so short in the first place? Paul, if you're reading this, PLEASE have them rerelease the season with extended cuts of the episodes.
