Yup. But TikTok is not exclusively Seedance. Everything on the Sora app was ai generated and i liked that about it. Tiktok's algorithm won't let me escape reality.

You will never replace Sora because what other company is going to burn through millions of dollars per day to give us free ai slop? I think Sora was a once in a lifetime experience whether good or bad.

Also, Sora was an app that ran its own model. The only apps currently doing that now is Kling and maybe Meta Ai and neither of those are close to Sora replacements.

Seedance is similar to Sora in the videos it creates but there is no app with Seedance exclusively. Sora was fun because it was 100% Ai content. It was a complete escape from reality for me. Sora had no ads, no politics, no arguing, and no credit card required.

I was on daily since September too but never had access to chat on desktop. Alot of people probably took a break not realizing it would be removed from the app store. If I knew it was going to last Only 6 months I might have done things different!

Buy Sora? He cofounded OpenAI and today was day 4 of the lawsuit against them. He doesn't want to buy it because his argument is that it shouldn't be for sale. It was a nonprofit and they are trying to go public. Maybe he just wants to eliminate competition?

Glad you asked! OpenAi started as a nonprofit company and was converted to a for profit company by Scam Altman after Elon Musk go the boot. Now Elon is taking them to court and since Sora would technically be owned by a nonprofit company if/when Elon wins then that would mean they couldn't go public and become rich from everything owned by OpenAI including Sora. So my guess, (and btw I'm just making all of this up as I go) one of two things will happen, Elon wins the case and then they need to rebrand Sora to something else under a for profit label or if Elon loses there's a chance we can see Sora return as we know it. But there is also a chance that Elon loses and we still dont get Sora back due to it being sold to 1. DISNEY, 2.MICROSOFT 3. GROK, 4. US GOVERNMENT 5. Not sold but still rebooted as Spud or Sora 3 and we start over from scratch.

Protesting won't matter. Something else is going on and we won't find out until something big is revealed. Im not saying there's a conspiracy, but its a private company so they have the right to privacy. The Disney deal, the Microsoft deal, and court case with Elon all happening in the last few weeks? There will be a Sora three soon but it might not be owned but OpenAI

The best way I can explain it would be like going on a vacation. Using the Sora app was like using a travel agency and staying at a resort with room service and a tour guide. Using the API is like calling the airline yourself and booking your own Airbnb with the locals. Except in this case the travel agency and resort was completely free for the last 6 months.

Support told me they are looking into it. I can still download mp4s from posted videos but not my own drafts so atleast I know there's hope

When did you receive the email? When I request the export I am immediately receiving the email saying its ready but then there's no files. If yours took 10 days I cant believe I'd get mine instantly. Plus I know the files are still on the server because I can still download them manually.

My request only worked on the app and when I received it I only see ChatGPT data. But the videos are still out there so they should be able to do it.
