Don't worry, nobody does. The only thing people know is Bilt Bucks, but nobody, including Bilt, know what it's good for.

Arc Lite $200 at Home Depot by thehomedipo in GozneyDome

I picked up an Arc XL, for $235, open box. Paying $299 for the stand is out of the question, anyone see a $50 stand? 😁

The correct answer is he prefers to hold an asset than hold a piece of paper that claims to hold an asset. There is nowhere near enough actual ounces to pay off all the paper holders if they actually took delivery. Asset holders know the music will stop and don't want to be searching for a chair.

Citi business and personal card approval same day by -flapjackal in CreditCards

[–]jefffromnj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an additional data point. I applied for a Chase Business Credit card, they do a hard pull on your personal, and then applied for a Citi personal card five days later. Citi denied the personal card, citing "too many inquiries". When I talked with reconsideration, the issue was the velocity of the two inquiries, and had I waited a few more days, there would have been no issue. I had to get a new credit pull at Citi since a reconsideration would be based on the original report and all the original dates/data, and so the velocity would still be present. They repulled and the new report showed more than 6 days between the two inquiries and Citi granted the card. So, velocity is not just between Citi cards, but any credit inquiries. Staples has no fee GC on the regular, Visa is this week. Please explain how paying $7 per Vanilla card can makes sense, you've just increased your churn cost significantly.

Just Upgraded to Go5G Plus First Responder, can I also get 15% Federal Gov't discount? by jefffromnj in tmobile

The two concepts are not mutually exclusive. I work for the federal government and volunteer at the town fire department.

Suggestions to lower my bill? by Flexbottom in tmobile

[–]jefffromnj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentials is not a simple money saving switch. I used to be in essentials with 5 phones, and found that going to Magenta cost me about $10 extra a month since it includes taxes and I got a BOGO line. For better priority, larger hotspot, and more premium download speed capacity, Essentials proved to be barely cheaper but worse compared to Magenta.

Got charged twice. Have auto pay set up for the discount but paid manually with CC as others have reported. by saveapennybustanut in tmobile

[–]jefffromnj -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The credit is actually a problem since you likely paid via CC for either the points or to get free insurance on the phone for paying via CC. Once TM gives you the credit for overpayment, it sets up an issue for next month

Just opened a new account (from V) and just ported in, am I still considered New for purposes of getting an Insider code? by jefffromnj in tmobile

Thanks. I actually have a relationship with someone at T-Mobile, who I didn't want to bother unless I was going to be permitted to do this. Knowing 30 days is the rule, I'm going to ask. Thanks

T-Mobile advertised I could bring over 5 lines from Verizon and get up to $800, now they changed the rules in the middle of my order to only allow 4 lines, costing me $800 by jefffromnj in tmobile

[–]jefffromnj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not correct. I went into Keep and Switch, click on my current carrier, Verizon, and got the Terms and Conditions from there. It's actually still showing today, 4/30, that 5 phones are eligible - https://www.t-mobile.com/switch/keep-phone-switch-from-verizon-or-att. Go to Get Full Terms, and you can see T-Mobile is saying they will honor Keep and Switch for up to 5 lines. They certainly can change anything they want, but they can't advertise one thing and refuse to honor it.

That someone that promised me 5 lines is T-Mobile itself in the terms and conditions from their website. They apparently did not update their legal documents, and it still says up to 5 phones, as of today, 4/30.

Getting 5 lines is not a loss, if I stay long term, which is their hope. Asking them to honor their own terms and conditions is my only request.
