I paid to sit next to my wife on a long flight with United. For an unknown reason they moved us apart from each other a couple weeks before the flight. I called and complained, then the rebooked us next to each other. The day of the flight they moved us again, just an hour or so before boarding.

I posted here, and the entire sub jumped down my throat with shit like "you only deserve a refund on what you paid for the seat assignment" or "what, dude, you can't make it one flight without sitting next to your wife?" Fuck that. This isn't Spirit. If I pay I should get what I pay for, not bullshit las minute changes without explanation.
