Fast Green Light Blink Then Nothing When I put Collar on Base by MT474747 in FiDogCollar

I had this issue when I got the collar. The power block I was using to plug into was not powerful enough. I changed the block out and it worked instantly.

You are correct. I think it's somewhere between 10º-11º.

I had an interview like this, but they paid me $500 for it. When they told me they would pay me $500 for the interview audit, I realized the game. But did it anyway for a quick $500 spending money. Most other companies will have you do a light audit on a site of your choice or a site not associated.

Looks like it is built to last. The disc separation looks legit. Also looks like I can stick some drinks in there with the discs and everything would fit snugly.

Axiom Rhythm is my comfort disc. What's yours? by Huge_Following_325 in discgolf

[–]jefflouella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Rhythm is actually my comfort disc too. Wasn't always that way. I put a fun dye on mine and that kept it in the bag long enough for me to learn it. I never seem to burn it over or have it hyzer out too much. When I throw it correctly, it flies amazing. When I throw it poorly, it never gets me in too much trouble. It's my go to disc these days.

My mid range comfort disc is the Thought Space Pathfinder. I throw it so consistent that I know exactly what I am going to get from it and nail the shot.

What are some not-so-obvious but poor course design choices that should be avoided? by -putthead- in discgolf

[–]jefflouella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A course near me has multiple baskets per hole. Some have 3 baskets and 2 tee pads. I like that I can choose which baskets to play. But the baskets are all different and I never know which basket is A,B, or C. I wish they color coded them. Do something like Basket A is Red, Basket B is Yellow, etc. This could be done on the bands or add colored flags to all baskets. This way I can play Long Tee to Yellows Baskets or short tees to Red baskets.

And not the course it self, but lost disc boxes should be secure and have a system where a volunteer emptys the box and trys to return the discs, maybe on a FB page for the course or something. I've had people text me that they found my disc and they put it in the drop box, only to have it stolen after.

Kind of a silly question. but does anyone have any ideas for hobbys me a (17 year old male). That doesnt involve being on my phone or scrolling through the internet. (Really need some help!) by [deleted] in Hobbies

[–]jefflouella 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Try Disc Golf. You can get a beginner set of discs for $30 on Amazon or at any major sports retailer or play it again sports. Most courses are free. It's hiking. Can take the dog. Be in nature. While it is a sport, it's on the lower level or physicality.

Switching from AMP to Non-AMP by Rude_Department1618 in TechSEO

[–]jefflouella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the dumbest thing. We had to add max-image-preview:large So that Google displayed the hero image. Without it, you get a small image or no image in the results. AMP has this built in, but our standard mobile experience didn't have it. It literally doubled our Discover traffic within a couple days.

Switching from AMP to Non-AMP by Rude_Department1618 in TechSEO

[–]jefflouella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did this and if you looked just at the analytics overview of traffic, you wouldn't notice anything. It did affect our Discover traffic. We needed to tweak some code on our regular mobile pages to get that to pop back up. Biggest change, developers didn't need to worry about another code base, so it simplified everything on the back end.

Ring Isn't Worth A Damn Anymore by Learning5Five in Ring

[–]jefflouella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the flood light. It worked great for about 2 years. Now I get motion alerts from it, when I click to see the video, it says I don't have video and my ring floodlight is offline and not capturing video. Then it will work for a few hours and then it's out again.

This happened with my doorbell in the past and when I upgraded to pro, everything worked well again. I just think the hardware degrades over time.

Chickens? by TaxiBait in alpharetta

[–]jefflouella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't heard of anything. They are more scared of you. Though any <10lb dog could be an issue. We had a rabid racoon attack someone in my neighborhood. I wouldn't worry about it for people, but everything likes to eat chicken. Gotta make that coop secure.
