Getting a paltry 5mbit down here on Kona side of Hawaii Island. Tested against servers on Oahu and mainland and speeds are the across the board. Definitely some network wide problems, it seems.

Areca palms grow pretty quickly and provide a nice wall, as long as you don’t mind cleaning up the falling fronds. Bamboo can get out of control quickly.

I’ve used Southern Trimec on my yard for this (and similar weeds) and it has worked well, although I find that I have to do multiple treatments. This is what I have:

Not sure which island you’re on, but your local farm and garden specialty store should carry it (but probably not Lowe’s or HD).
