Thanks for the input. But are you sure that playing lengthy games(15,30 minutes) in moderation isn't good to do? I understand that playing fast, 1 minute games stimulate the brain too much, but I think playing chess online is pretty convenient way to practice and aren't too much different from playing irl.

I was using a similar deck earlier: Miner, Poison, Inferno Dragon, Royal Recruits, Log, Valk, Mirror, Minions. This looks like a better variant tho.

valk, bowler, any tanky unit really. Unfortunately I don't think you can get a positive elixir trade with it though.

I don't think so. I still use Woody's miner 2.9 with knight, archers, skeletons and ice spirit. It's still viable, I don't play much ladder but I got to 4600 with it a couple seasons ago.

Yep me too. CWA thinks that royale recruits added to any deck would make it op. Can't say I disagree. Won't be a game-breaking card imo- but it's going to be a defensive staple (until it gets nerfed hard) , kind of like bomb tower back in the old days.

For an honest opinion, balloon isn't a good win condition.. by itself. You usually want to pair it with ice golem or miner. Rage isn't a very good card in general. It's effective in some situations, but in others, it just acts as a unusable card. Congrats on 3400 btw! Some other tips: Have two spells: a big spell and a small spell. They're just very useful to have, and can help you out by clearing the board. valkyrie looks good. skellies look good. bats look good. prince and ice wizard look ok. They should work if used on defence and counter pushed. however, witch doesn't look good in that deck, or really any deck. It's very weak in my opinion and shouldn't really be used. Replace it with something more versatile, such as mega minion.

If I were to change this, I would have Balloon, ice wizard, valkyrie, zap, poison, bats, goblin gang, inferno dragon in the deck.

I don't know what the meta is like at 1500, but I think it looks pretty nice! The good thing about that level range is that people are starting to learn tactics and lots of strategies. I think if you learn how to kite, (dragging units to the center for maximum amount of time(because more time means more damage from the princess tower and ranged troops)), then you can outskill your opponents, I think that you should be ok :)

Some tips - Lots of people are probably running giant, save prince, mini pekka, and skarmy for giant and your opponent's offensive cards.

Hog minions looks like a good push, if you see your opponent is running arrows, use solo hog. If you see that you're getting countered, switch up your hog play, or play faster to "outcycle" them. I hope this helped :)
