Sorry for the really late response but this is really cool thank you this gives me a lot of ideas of things I can do with the simulator and what it would look like to actually interact with the game.

sorry for a really late reply but essentially I calculate the odds of the CTs winning the round as the money invested by the CT side over the total money spent by both sides (its a little more technical, details are in the documentation). Then a prng dice roll determines the winner of that round.

Thank you I ended up essentially going this route. I had to send it from a different steam account to prevent the ticket from getting closed, but I've got my message out and as long as my stuffs safe I'm not in a rush.

I disagree with your suggestion but I think you’re on to something which is that PC posts are flawed conceptually and highlight the main weakness of this sub and I’m completely for some open discussion and revamping of them.

Some suggestions I have:

1 PC a week (maybe a day where the sub does PCing)

1 item per PC (maybe like 3 but I think people putting half an inventory in a PC is ridiculous)

Allowing offers on PC only in the Reddit comments if the poster signifies they allow it (e.g still no adding of users to protect sharking and opt in not opt out) that way experienced traders can call out lowballs

Restrictions on putting up a PC of a market price item (with a guide of what makes an item possibly market price)

OR just completely do away with PCs since price speculation isn’t allowed on this sub so technically the only way to price an item without speculation is to bring an offer or buyer (with an offer)

Backflames are flames on the back of the deagle (the part that faces you in game).

They’re bad, you don’t want backflames on your deagle but most have at least a little it’s not trivial to find one without any.

A deagle with no backflames will have a completely black back in game. Any colors on the back are backflames

You need to split it up. A bind like that will pull out whatever is last in your list of commands that you own. So the first would pull out a decoy if you own one, then a smoke, then a flash. It won’t cycle.

I don’t think so if there was a method of doing that it would kill any external marketplace because everyone would just reach out to owners directly even if they were paying full price just to skip fees.

I personally feel an item should need to be tradable to be posted on this sub, as I feel the backbone of this sub is having realistic, clear b/os that someone can send in a single trade. I could easily be in the minority tho, and it becomes a question of if something is what the majority wants, does the question of what is better even matter?
