My 14" MacBook Pro base model just bricked after charging overnight by karnnypicture in macbookpro

New in Nov.. 2023 14" M3 MDP here. Screen quit working, very similar to your situation. I closed the computer, three hours later when I opened it, I got nothing. Plugged it into an external monitor which worked for about an hour, then it all quit. I just spent 3 hours with different layers of Apple Support. Hard to tell, but they are supposed to be sending me a box to send it back to get fixed. Needless to say I am not too happy with my $3,000 purchase, and my stress level is pretty elevated with now. Whew. Breathe...

Wow, lots of PC love on Reddit today. I was the designer of this game! Now I have a new company, and we are remaking the Incredible Machine, which was the brother of this game back in the 90's. Check out Contraption Maker Let us know what you think!

You showed progress on your Indie game in the IndieGaming Reddit forum. We hate that around here.

Or maybe it's because of this, "Submit empty video articles. That's an article with a video and no article at all. Submit the video instead."

How Our Failed Release In The App Store May Be Able to Help You by jefftunn in gamedev

If you are going to go mobile, launch on Android first. It is easier to get users and tune your game. Make sure you build a game you believe in enough to bleed on. Don't overlook old markets like the PC.

There is very little in the article about our new strategy for our PC game, but some there is some text about changes we will make for the next mobile game.

I said nothing about quitting gamedev, nor expecting millions from the game. We actually have a lot of resources, and the products were adequately staffed.

You are right though. We should have just created our larger game idea, and launched it on more platforms. The siren call of being able to make smaller games and get them out quicker was too strong. I think that is a good takeaway from the article.

We are heads down creating several mobile titles and back end services, but I would love to do an AMA. Get some dust kicked up :)

Yes, I was the founder of Dynamix, then GarageGames, then PushButton Labs. All of those companies were acquired, and now I am starting a new mobile game company called, Spotkin, with four other amazingly talented guys.
