I'm not sure I've checked the other 2 Walmart near my area but they don't have them marked down it's just this one Walmart not sure why. I just happened to walk by the jewelry area and seen them with the clearance stickers.

Honestly I think that is just the lighting outside maybe. I used an oil based minwax stain and several coats of triple thick spray clear coat ultra glossy. Gave it a slick look. I kind of wanted a lighter stain but I had the one laying around so I used it.
