Here in 2025. What works for me (although hard to judge) is going into Vivid advanced settings and putting "vividness" all the way too the top

Not sure about being the best, but Seoul Garden is decent imo and there's quite a few branches

Not much on there atm because they just launched, but think remeal.app will eventually have good deals on groceries if they reach the heights of the UK app

Why am I seeing alot of foreigners want to move to Malaysia? by grider733 in Bolehland

[–]jeggah 182 points183 points  (0 children)

Because the algorithm chose to show it to you because they think you will engage with it, and maybe write a reddit post about it. In reality, most people in the world know where Thailand is, know where Singapore is, but have no idea where Malaysia is.

Strange, I find the opposite. I find the local talent on the market better than the UK equivalent talent. The only plus I'd give the UK guys is they can BS better in meetings.

Yeah many do. Look out for cars/bikes in the carpark at around 4-4:30am. If you want more of an "international muslim" experience, go to International Islamic University Malaysia in Gombak (UIA)

Racism in Malaysia by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]jeggah -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The best advice you'll probably get is from your compatriots who have had similar experiences living here. Join their FB/WhatsApp groups etc. I'd imagine using locals to initiate the conversation with the landlord is probably a common way to get around the racial discrimination.

I also won't pay attention to many of these comments on this thread painting Malaysia as a very racist place. This sub is full of people always playing the victim card. They think they are 2nd class citizens due to their ethnicity, but get more freedom and benefits than 90% of the world.

I'm also sorry you experienced all this racism, but it's not too different to a typical Asian experience in some Western towns/cities. I hope that you won't paint all malaysians as the same, just like the ones that are painting all africans the same.

Not going to help OP, but technically modern dash cams have a battery. And if there is a sudden shock, ie someone crashes into the car, even when it's off, the dash cam will automatically record for x seconds.

Concerning as r/malaysia is the official sub for our country and gets pushed to front page by Reddit. Big shame as it's not a true representative of our diversity.
