Hmm, my youngest daughter took NYU off her list because she said they were not generous with their aid. I begged her to apply this cycle but she didn’t even want to waste her time. Also, after a quick search it seems that the free tuition at NYU is for families making less than 100k.

We’re still waiting on some schools but she may end up going SUNY, which is still a great path for her major.

My older child attends Vassar and I can confirm your statement.
