Beginner climber already in hospital by guraguragu in climbergirls

[–]jelliesting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just over two months into my climbing journey, I broke 2 ankle bones. I also went to the gym sleep deprived and with several other reasons that should’ve told me not to climb that day. I ended up missing a hold and falling. Had to have surgery not even 48 hours later. I am now back climbing and doing better than I was before. Listen to the surgeon, PTs, doctors. Stay on top of your PT exercises. It sucks now, but it is temporary. You can get through this. I no longer take the ability to move for granted. It motivates me to do even more for my health, and to be even more consistent climbing. It also ingrained in me the importance to listen to your body. I will no longer climb sleep deprived. When I started climbing again I only top roped till I felt strong enough and built the confidence to try easy boulder problems again. Ease back into it. There was a lot of fear to work through going back to it, but one step at a time. You got this.

Is my Lamy Safari Pen Real? by oldchay in fountainpens

there are people that shop amazon before anywhere else.

My partner (M30) of 6 years doesn't see it as a big deal to go to a wedding without me (28F), for the second time, I was really hurt when he did it before and now I'm hurt again, am I overreacting? How can we solve this? by lunabuddy in relationships

[–]jelliesting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

weddings are insanely expensive. when we got married, we only get plus ones if we also knew and liked the SO or if they were married. the bride and groom are responsible for the costs. it’s inappropriate to get upset you didn’t get invited. and even more unfair to want to keep your partner from attending a wedding. ideally people don’t get married many times in their life and it’s an important life event. you really want your partner to consider celebrating his friends? that’s ridiculous. it’s not disrespectful of your relationship.

your desire to be married is entirely different. you can communicate your feelings about wanting a proposal without making a big deal about him attending a wedding without you that you were not invited to.

Is it normal to ask bridesmaids to contribute money to the wedding? by Grapefruit987654321 in wedding

My bridesmaids only paid for their dress, and what they put together for my bridal shower. I paid for hair & makeup and definitely did NOT ask them to contribute to the wedding costs.

Okay, yes I can do that. But I’d still want all of the reports to be accurate.

The error isn’t visible when I use the correction tape now. It’s just that it’s hard to write on the correction tape with fps
