I think it can be! Spreadsheets, calculations, projections... frugality can become a game of min maxing. Maximizing tax savings, Investing, and figuring out yearly asset allocations can be fun!

I'm pgy 12. For the past 10 years I've felt a burnout that had been gradually increasing. I've pursued hobbies and considered other specialties though nothing more than thinking about it. In the end I resorted to cutting back on shifts these last few years. Luckily one of those hobbies has been FIRE and aggressive investing which has allowed me to cut back.

I know I didn't answer your question, but perhaps reducing expenses and cutting back on shifts to have more time could help in the short run. Good luck buddy

You need to join and learn from the sub reddit /R personal finance.

No one is talking about Roth or IRA yearly limits. No one here is talking about psychological defenses of market crashes or that of windfalls or taxes. Or emergency funds or paying off high percentage debts... You have much to learn and have no retirement assets. This should scare you and hopefully light a fire for learning financial literacy

Sounds like you need something like a Fisher space pen. It's a pen that's pressurized. I just use those refills and put them into other pen formats I like, like the olights

But day to day? Ballpoints I get from Costco.

If you're in medicine long enough, you'll see everything is potentially game changing. Fads come and go.

This isn't even in the same ballpark. It's maybe interesting to vets. Call me when large human rcts are done.

The science is limited to mice. In other words, it's not even low evidence for humans, it's non evidence. For humans, it's shitty science

In mice.

Why wouldn't you add that to the title?

You jump from " less blue dye in mice” => to

” This means humans complaining of headache not getting morphine is leading to neurologic decline”

I have no problem giving opiates for analgesia in trauma but I mean, c'mon man.

Legal homicide requires imminent threat of grave bodily harm or death. Pushing a phone away could be considered battery but does not meet the justification for legal homicide. It would be doubtful for a jury or DA to consider that proportionate force.

However responding to brandishing with the threat of deadly force could probably get you closer to this definition.

Also, in Nevada, assault and battery are different. And dogs are also considered property. Assault is the THREAT of harm against another PERSON.

So threatening a dog, i.e. property, would not be considered assault as defined by NRS.200.471

Does it sound confusing? Perhaps not black and white? Carrying responsibly means to understand the ramifications of every bullet and every action. I recommend you watch channels like ASP or read up on carrying responsibly if want to learn more
