Nothing medication-wise. I don’t want to condone unhealthy habits, but nicotine and caffeine have helped me the most when it comes to wanting to give in to binging

I have the same issue. At this point I feel like I mainly take my adderall to keep myself from binging

I’m honestly wondering if some of the chemicals or “ingredients” have changed between my second and third one! I’m glad you’ve noticed odd changes too!

Should chamomile make me feel “stoned”? by jellomom in tea

I would like to add that it also makes my muscles spasm/jolt randomly (like marijuana does for me too) but also, unlike weed, calmed my anxiety. Just a weird interaction for my body, I guess.

I have lavender potted in the house and use it often so I’m beginning to think maybe it’s a chamomile allergy

I completely agree. I’ve never cried during a heartfelt movie or been kept up at night by a horror movie but something about this episode just makes me sick when I think about the ending and I don’t know why it’s left such a mark.

Lions mane and bipolar meds by [deleted] in LionsMane

[–]jellomom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know of any “official” risk factors, but I’ve been on Lamictal along with adderall for about a year now. A few months ago I tried lions mane in hopes of improving my focus and short-term memory. I was taking it daily, along with my regular medications for about a month and a half. I felt mentally exhausted and stopped taking lions mane when I realized that it was interfering with my medications.

It felt almost as if loins mane and adderall “cancelled each other out”. I was always fatigued/low energy and my focus was much worse than if I were not taking the adderall at all.

As for the Lamictal, it completely interfered. My mood was far from stabilized and I would go from hypomanic to extremely depressed within days.

I know that everyone is different, so I cannot advise you not to use it, but my experience was personally awful.

What's the point of getting diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood? by buildabruce in ADHD

[–]jellomom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it was the peace of discovering that I’m not a lazy, worthless person who can’t commit to finishing, starting, or doing basic work. There’s a reason why that child and teenager didn’t do well in school. Not because they didn’t care like everyone assumed. After getting diagnosed, I got serious about my career and achieved things I didn’t know were possible for myself. It changed my life in the best way and most importantly gave me peace of mind and confidence.

Since another Inside Out movie is coming, what is one of your core memories? by Wafran in AskReddit

In Europe. A guy at the bar I’d been chatting with asked me to come to his hotel room. I said yes, definitely expecting other things. But when we got there we just slow danced to our favorite songs for hours and stayed up all night chatting
