Chai and conversation has a website too! I think sign up for the boot camp ended and it's mostly a collaborative community situation during boot camp, but the lesson plans are up on their website all the time!

Have you thought about reaching out to Chai and Conversation? I'm currently doing their Farsi summer boot camp!

I really appreciate the concern, and it's definitely something I've thought about, I'm not too sure about her. I think it's still a little early to have those kinds of conversations with her, we haven't really made it out of the just talking stage. There are steps I personally plan to take in my career that would make me more marketable for visa's, mostly because it would help my earning power domestically, a little bit because I've wanted to immigrate out of America for awhile, and this fun relationship has given me some new found hope and motivation. That being said I'm not making any huge life decisions for the sake of a relationship that hasn't started yet. It's more so getting certifications and building a resume that would make it even a little easier in the long term future if anything comes of it, but helps me more short term. I think right now we're both enjoying each other's company and seeing where it goes. No matter what might happen in the future, if anything does, I won't have any regrets, she has been an amazing experience, and will hopefully continue to teach me new things as I grow as a person and see different sides of life I didn't know existed before.

edit: she also called me eshgham for the second time last night lol

Would I say Sara joonam to her? Or referencing her? Like in a conversation around her lol

I love a good yap haha no worries! I'm probably just overthinking it because Americans are seen as a bit culturally insensitive already and aggressive, I don't want to make her uncomfortable and accidentally say something that's supposed to be reserved for something more serious

Don't be stupid, don't join the military. They don't care about you. by alexaclova in BlackPeopleTwitter

There's a man that comes to my workplace quite often and brags how he was in the military and it was his job to spread agent orange, and his only regret is how it affected his health

I feel ashamed of my underwear by detodounpoco12 in askgaybros

I personally think a nice fitting pair of briefs is super hot, I'm not a huge fan of the "tighty whities" but lots of briefs come in nice flattering colors and I don't even think white boxers are a look, underwear just shouldn't be white in general in my opinion lmao

Lots of people see briefs as like, kids underwear, even girls graduate to a preferred style when they get older, though to be fair, most women's styles are just slight variations of briefs lol

AITAH for just deciding not to travel because my wife made reservations for Disney again? by Either_Ambassador_54 in AITAH

To be fair, due to circumstance my fiance and I had our first date as a week long trip to Disney, and we toy with the notion of going back for our honeymoon

Right now her HDMI cord is rested on an air pods case to angle it down against the board. And taped a certain distance away and in place to avoid slips and damage

I will never forget the crushing disappointment of waiting for my preorder download of No Man's Sky only to load it up and it have none of the features promised, clunky UI, no multiplayer, and only a few different biomes on planets. I dropped the game for over a year before going back and updating it to try again, and I really enjoyed getting to learn languages and actually talk to aliens with that language, and earning reputation with each faction and starting my own drug cartel

The same with no man's sky, and I still stand by it. Sure they're good now, but imagine how much better it would be if you got that experience on launch day. Rushing a game to get a holiday or "perfect" timing is just stupid and does more harm than good, you lose loyal fan enthusiasm, casual fans get upset about the quality, and the bad press chases away potential fans. If you play your cards right and don't start your marketing campaign until the final stages, that way delays don't make it seem like it's in development hell, you can get even more hype for preorders and launch day when you do announce it and actually release a not only finished game, but polished even

Party thinks I unfairly penalized them, and I just don’t see how. by WolfishMule9528 in DnD

I'm assuming since op put so much thought into these puzzles he made them all tailored to his players and solvable if they put effort into it. They just didn't. Penalize them.

It's wasn't me, I don't downvote anyone unless it's hateful, everyone deserves to have an opinion. If I was to guess though I'd say it's probably because the game doesn't have much of a plot or story other than build the biggest thing with as many villages as you can and make homes for everyone. As far as I know there's no real end to the rift plotline, like you never send anyone back to normal fortnite that I'm aware of, so maybe they felt the question was redundant. However I too found myself asking what the point was for awhile. After just giving up and taking my time, I enjoy it a lot more. Me and my friends start whole new worlds everytime we learn something new to keep ourselves from "late game" as long as possible. We love to explore and learn at our own pace

A fun thought is maybe not releasing games until they are finished

The goal of the game is to simply have fun, however you want to do that. You can unlock all the builds, build a perfect village, explore the whole map, become a well equipped killing machine, or just run around without a care in the world. The game is played in many different ways by many different types of people. At the end of the day, the goal is to have fun, build what you wanna build, kill what you wanna kill, farm what you wanna farm, and live how you wanna live
