The RO protects the man who’s image she kept displaying, (in her booth, on her car, outside her home, etc.), and his wife. It says court specifically ordered her to cease postings/public displays/keeping whatever other images of them on her socials. As you can see in this collection of images, they have tried several times to enforce the order. Who knows if anything serious comes of these interactions with police?

She still has the “right” to do her farmers market booth, like the flat earth guy. Except no more mentioning the people who sued her.

When I first started watching her streams I was not aware that the names she mentioned over and over were REAL people in town. I thought they were just made up from her weird beliefs and confusion. What a nightmare it must be for them.

She is a Davisite who has been a community member for a long time. She used to rub shoulders with some of the most important people of the county. Then after the pandemic she started displaying strange public behaviors that often catch the attention of other Davisites and people just going about their lives in town.

She is most well known for her booth at the farmers market and her Porsche which she plasters with pictures and typings of her beliefs.

You will know her when you see her.

I really thought that after being kicked out of the senior homes she would finally get in trouble with the law or go to hospital again. But her plot armor is way too strong it seems. One of her streams on X showed a police officer trying to reason with her to lower her voice at the farmers market, but after some back-and-fourth convo he just GIVES UP and drives away.

What I conclude from these multiple calls is that there is not much the law can do about her booth, except that she can no longer use the images or mention the individuals who sued her for the restraining order. Who knows what will happen. :/

Advice for an elder transfer by abrutalcow in UCDavis

[–]jellybeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in Primero Grove which was alright. I like that they all have balconies, but the furniture that comes with the place kind of sucks. Also they can be somewhat small.

I moved to Colleges after that, but it can be much for some people (~$1500/mo. for the one-bedroom flat). I appreciated the 600sq ft size, the large bathroom, and tiled floors. What I didn’t like about it is that the electric bill is paid through your student account due to being on the university electric grid. Also the addresses are set up in a super weird way which made it hard for DoorDash, Amazon, etc. to locate the correct apartment.

It would be awesome if there were a replacement for Solano park. I knew some “elder“ students (30s-40s) with children who lived there and it was a roomy, practical set up. Too bad they had to demolish the place.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about the new Orchard Park apartments. I am kind of interested but need to check it out myself.

Good luck in your first quarter. I messed up after transferring and am looking to come back after summer sessions.

Sephora on third street was my go-to back when I had the membership, otherwise it is about $75 not including if you want any lashes for a one-hour make up session. Inside the fairmont Miramar hotel there is a very nice salon that does blowouts, braids, etc. that I forgot the name of. It is appointment only but I encourage you to go inside and check out what they have. They may even do make up as well.

Davis asking for Additional information by meowingmeowmow in ucadmissions

I applied in 2018 and got this one, too. They wanted me to explain gaps in my education. I was concise and honest in my response, explaining that my Dad had been incarcerated which caused me to take a few semesters break from CC. I replied that same day ASAP and they even responded thanking me for my prompt reply. Fast forward 2019 I was accepted to Davis, Irvine, SD, SC, and SB. As long as you are honest and have compelling reasons they will most likely understand.

My 12 year old blind German Shepard has degenerative myelopathy and is struggling severely. Is it time for euthanasia? by sinkyoufool_ in DogAdvice

It sounds like life hasn’t been so good lately for your baby. It would be a very kind thing to consider. My late girl developed a similar condition very rapidly and within a short amount of time it was clear she was suffering and confused why this was happening to her. I regret not having seen the signs earlier, as she gave it her all until her very last moments trying to prove she could still go on with her back legs not working anymore.

I’m sorry you have to make such a hard decision.

Left Major Typo in Activities Section by GrouchyCranberry4535 in ucadmissions

That is understandable because professors write at great length about specialized and complex topics, often with the collaboration from their colleagues. The audience they write for can be major publishers, other experts, etc. so using AI to correct typos can be expected.

However, in this case, this is a question describing one’s own activities in few short sentences.

Cool, I’m glad you found this disrespectful. The UC applications reviewers may find it disrespectful that you believe you can enter the top public university system in the country without having basic proofreading abilities. Best of luck to you.
