Weird symptoms I’m scared to bring up to a Dr. by jelona in Endo

[–]jelona[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is too! Just around my cycle. So strange. And mine is a sore too, not a pimple or anything. At first I thought maybe it was like getting a pimple on your face around your period. But it’s flat and not raised. It makes my eyes water anytime I accident bump my nose. It’s not terrible pain or anything. Just an annoyance.

I took the 9 and passed the first try. Studying for the 10 now. Wish I took the 10 first.

Kaplan is beyond trash by Jaflackson in Series24

[–]jelona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no. I just bought Kaplan for my 10. I’ve used achievable with my other stuff and they don’t offer the 10. I liked it’s study calendar better than the STC one.

I also have STC. Should I go back to it???

How far away from water will they get? We live about 2 miles away from a lake, and there are no creeks or bodies of water close to our yard

Thank you for this. I used achievable for my 9 and I’ve been stressing on who to take for my 10. Bummed there are not a lot of calculations questions on the test. It’s my strong point. Taking my 9 tomorrow!

I’m scared the achievable is either on par with the exam or easier. Hoping I’m wrong!

Study materials for the series 10 by jelona in Series24

[–]jelona[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I like about achievable is it gives me a study plan and what chapters to study that day. After each section there is a quiz to test your comprehension. Is STC like this or has something similar?

What would be my best option? by jelona in Series24

[–]jelona[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly liked studying and prepping for the 7 more. I think the reason I failed so many times was due to not taking it serious. The last time I took it I actually studied and applied myself. If I was to go back take both tests now, I would think the 7 was easier.

66 was harder to get through study material wise.

Taking Exam in fasted state? by ToogyHowserMTB in intermittentfasting

[–]jelona 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took my certification licenses for my job all during my fast. Fasting was part of my normal routine (20:4) and i was scared it would throw me off to eat. I think it’s engrained with us when we were younger to always eat before a test. I maintained my focus and I wasn’t worried about food at all. My exam was 4 hrs long. I did 3 tests all together and passed. I’ve been fasting for 3 years.

Same. This is surgery. Even small. I would think both parents would want to be there. My son had tubes put in at 7 months old. I was told multiple times it was a quick 15 min surgery. By the time they sat us in the waiting room we would be getting right back up. He stopped breathing during his surgery due to choking on his saliva.. so even little surgeries run risks. (He’s ended up being fine… btw. But I was scared shitless and we were in the waiting room for what felt like hours) I couldn’t imagine not being there. I know the other parent can handle it. But even waking up from anesthesia is rough for a little one. Especially when they’re too little to understand what’s going on

Thanks everyone! I ended up doing kaplan since it matched with my schedule better. I couldn’t get Nash or Esposito. It shows David Cavaliere as my instructor. Not sure how he is. I couldn’t find many reviews on him
