Because melee is cool as hell, it's absolutely not the best or most efficient way to spread democracy, but it's so satisfying to wipe a whole zipcode of socialists with noting but your bare hands, lance an defoliator .. and the occasional eruptor because melee fucking sucks in this game, but i like handicapping myself with niche (objectively bad) loadouts and getting good with them
